With a history of more than 1,000 years, this temple is one of the most popular temples in Japan, attracting more than 10 million worshippers a year. More than 150 sweet stores and souvenir stores line the Omotesando approach between Naritasan Shinshoji Temple and Narita Station.
Naritasan Park

This large 165,000 square meter garden stretches behind the main hall of Naritasan Shinshoji Temple. Known for its plum blossoms, the garden is also home to cherry blossoms, maple trees, oak trees, sawtooth oak, ginkgo trees, and other seasonal flowers and trees.
Narita International Airport Terminal 1 5F Observation Deck

The wide observation deck is located on the 5th floor of Terminal 1. There is a hole in the fence through which a camera lens can be taken out, allowing visitors to enjoy photographing the powerful takeoff and landing scenes of airplanes.
Sakura no yama Park

Narita City Sakura-no-Yama is a park located on a small hill on the north side of the runway of Narita International Airport, where visitors can experience the takeoff and landing of airplanes up close. In late March, approximately 500 cherry trees are in full bloom, and the park is crowded with people taking pictures of cherry blossoms and airplanes.
Katori Jingu Shrine

It is one of the oldest shrines in Japan, said to have been built in 643 BC. The shrine grounds are lined with huge old trees, and the majestic black-lacquered shrine pavilions create a mysterious atmosphere. It is also famous for its autumn foliage.
Historic Old Town area in Sawara, Katori

Sawara prospered during the Edo period, taking advantage of water transportation. The Ono River coastline, which still retains the atmosphere of the Edo period, is highly regarded for its historical scenery. The “Koedo Sawara Boat Tour” is a popular attraction to view the town from the Ono River.
Museum of Aeronautical Sciences

Japan’s first museum specializing in aviation. The museum exhibits actual parts of passenger aircraft, such as the fuselage and cabin, which were actually used. Visitors can experience piloting a large model of a jumbo jet in the cockpit at the rear of the aircraft.
