There are also walking trails and a ropeway, and the ropeway takes you to a spectacular viewpoint from which you can even see Mt.
Yamanashi Prefectural Museum of Art

Also known as “Millet’s Museum,” it houses a large number of Jean-François Millet’s works. Visitors can see his masterpiece, “The Sower”.
Takeda Shrine

The shrine is dedicated to Shingen Takeda, a famous general of the Warring States period. The shrine is dedicated to Takeda Shingen, a famous general of the Warring States period.
Zenkoji Temple

Founded by Lord Shingen Takeda, the main hall and the temple gate are designated as National Important Cultural Properties of Japan.The main hall measures 38 meters from east to west and 26 meters in height, making it one of the largest wooden structures in eastern Japan. It is also known for its hydrangea.
Sadoya Winery

Established in 1917, Sadoya Winery is a 5-minute walk from R Kofu Station, so it is a great place for those who want to enjoy tastings. Tours are available in the vast winery and underground wine cellar of the storage facility. There is also a wine store and a French restaurant.
Koshu Yumekoji

The townscape is a reproduction of the retro Kofu Castle Town of around 1900. The cobblestone alleys are lined with 20 stores, including galleries and restaurants.
Budonooka Wine Strage

Suntory Hakushu Distillery

The distillery, surrounded by trees, is a “distillery in the forest” that produces carefully selected sake from famous water. It also has a museum where visitors can learn about the history and culture of whiskey, a store, and a restaurant.
Moegi no Mura

Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Yatsugatake Mountains, the complex is dotted with about 30 unique restaurants, cafes, museums, and hands-on facilities. There is also a merry-go-round on a small hill in the plaza.
