Kabira Bay

It is a cove on the northwest coast and there are nine islets scattered around the mouth of the bay. The scenery of clear blue ocean, white sandy beach, and green islets is said to be the most beautiful in Ishigaki Island. Swimming is prohibited in the bay due to the fast current, but you can enjoy the underwater scenery by glass boat.
Yonehara Beach
Yonehara, Ishigaki 907-0451 Okinawa Prefecture
Yonehara Beach is located in the northern part of Ishigaki Island and has a relaxing atmosphere characterized by its white sand beach. The coastline is a gentle arc, and there are many coral reefs in the ocean and a national natural treasure Yaeyama palm colony on the land side. The abundance of coral and tropical fish makes it ideal for snorkeling, and many snorkelers visit the beach during the summer season.
Cape Hirakubozaki
Hirakubo, Ishigaki 907-0331 Okinawa Prefecture
It is a cape located at the northern tip of Ishigaki Island. The gently curving plateau is used as a grazing ground for cattle. At the tip of the cape, you can see the white Hirakubo Lighthouse standing against the blue ocean. On a clear day, you can see as far as Tarama Island in the distance.
Tamatorizaki Observatory
Ibaruma, Ishigaki 907-0332 Okinawa Prefecture
Tamatorizaki Observatory is a scenic spot where you can overlook Hirakubo Peninsula and the sea of Ishigaki. At the observatory, you can overlook the beautiful blue sea of Ishigaki Island and Hirakubo Peninsula, also called “Shisa’s tail”. The promenade leading to the observatory is covered with hibiscus flowers all year round, giving you a tropical feeling.
Ishigaki Port Ritoh Tarminal
1 Misakicho, Ishigaki 907-0012 Okinawa Prefecture
Ishigaki Port Terminal is the passenger terminal for the outlying island route of high-speed boats that connect the surrounding islands. Inside the terminal, there are souvenir stores, a small cafeteria, tour companies, and a planetarium. With popular photo spots and sweets, it is a place where you can spend a fulfilling time even if you visit for sightseeing purposes.
Banna Park

The prefectural park is located on Banna-dake, 230m above sea level, overlooking the city of Ishigaki Island. The vast site is divided into 5 zones from A to E. There is an observatory with a magnificent view, a migratory bird observatory, a “Nature Observation Plaza” and “Fureai Children’s Plaza” where you can encounter plants and butterflies unique to Ishigaki Island and other greenery.
Ishigaki Island Limestone Cave
1666 Ishigaki, Ishigaki 907-0023 Okinawa Prefecture
The largest limestone cave in Ishigaki Island created by nature over 200,000 years. There are many attractions such as sparkling stalactites, fantastic illumination of stalactite cave, suikinkutsu (water fountain) to enjoy the sound of water, and Totoro’s stalactite.
Ishigaki Yaima Village
967-1 Motonagura, Ishigaki 907-0021 Okinawa Prefecture
Ishigaki Yaima Village is a theme park that recreates the good old days of Yaeyama against the backdrop of rich nature. The old houses built more than 90 years ago are designated as national tangible cultural properties. The sound of sanshin (Okinawan traditional three-stringed instrument) echoes from the red-tiled old houses, and there are many hands-on activities such as Ryukyuan costumes, star sand art, and shisa (Okinawan traditional Okinawan Okinawan Okinawan Okinawan sasar) painting. At the Squirrel Monkey Park, visitors can feed and directly touch about 60 cute squirrel monkeys.
Euglena Mall

It is a lively spot with more than 100 souvenir stores and restaurants. There is an arcade mall built on two streets, Chuo-dori and Ginza-dori, where you can enjoy foods only available in Ishigaki Island and “Ishigaki City Public Market” which is called the kitchen of Ishigaki Island.
Where to leave your luggage
Coin lockers are located at the end of the south aisle on the first floor of the domestic terminal.
Temporary baggage storage is available at the Ishigakijima Porter Service Counter (right side of the arrival lobby counter row). There is also a service to deliver your baggage to your accommodation on the island on the same day.
